3. Quality Control & Timber Seasoning Standards
Under the voluntary Quality Control Orders (QCO) and BIS standards for solid wood products:
- Moisture Content Certification: Every batch of Dalbergia sissoo undergoes 14–21 days of steam and vacuum kiln-drying to achieve a standardized moisture content below 12%, preventing warping and splitting.
- Eco-Friendly Chemical Preservation: Organic borate anti-termite and borer pressure treatment conforming to non-toxic residential indoor safety standards.
- Lead-Free Lacquers: 3-stage Italian polyurethane (PU) sealants and natural oil stains containing zero heavy metals or harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
